Come and play while you read the notes on the Treble Clef
What is included in the game:
12 card boards.
One big card with the names of the notes.
One big card with all the notes on the stave.
Small caller cards with the notes on the stave.
12 pages with small cover cards with the Treble Clef.
You will need:
To print all the card boards and the cards that are included in the game
Α pair of scissors
A laminator, if you wish to laminate all the material.
2-12 players or a group of players.
How we play this game:
Each player takes a card board.
The caller chooses one of his cards and calls the note that is indicated on it.
If a player has the note on his cardboard, he will have to cover it with a Treble Clef cover card.
The winner is the player who first covers all the notes on their cardboard and calls Detective Treble.
More ideas:
Guess the note: i) Kodaly movements: Each note is represented by a Kodaly movement as is indicated on the corresponding card. One player chooses a note and moves accordingly. The rest have to guess the note. ii) A player chooses 5 caller cards with notes from the basic octave. He plays these notes on the piano/ glockenspiel/ boomwhackers and all start to sing (Solfège). The game starts when all turn their back and have to guess the note that is heard.
We are an Orchestra and we are All Happy Together: Combine the Detective Treble card boards (melody) with the card boards of the Rhythmico 4/4 (rhythm). Split into group and the orchestra is ready!
Find the note on the piano - Play and Sing.
Every card board can become a colourful music sheet for the Angel Glockenspiel, the musical bells or the boomwhackers, by colouring the note head with the correct colour.
